The structure dates back to around 1600. It is a typical rural mountain building entirely made of terracotta from Impruneta, the typical stone of the area and wood. The B&B has 2 rooms and 3 apartments. The rooms offered by Ca ‘Scheta offer many services such a TV, private bathroom with hairdryer, while the apartments offer a kitchenette with cooking hobs and a fridge. A large living room and a beautiful room decorated with fireplaces will welcome guests and is where a delicious and abundant buffet breakfast will be served. Throughout the year, this small and charming ancient village,offers many events to its visitors. From June to December there is one event after another ranging from cultural, recreational, artistic and traditional initiatives. The Tortello festival (culinary festival) and the magnificent medieval festivals “Medioevo alla Corte degli Ubaldini” which in July bring history to the square and bring people from all over Italy. And then there’s the Apennine Festival (cultural event with names from Italian journalism), the wild boar festival, the hunting festival, and the Chestnut festival that will immerse visitors in the local flavors of the autumn season. In November, Palazzuolo sul Senio is busy organizing the Wild Boar Trail which is a race suited for all ages and abilities. And with the arrival of the magic of Christmas the lights come on and the village gets in the spirit with its Christmas markets and with its nativity scenes “1000 presepi per Palazzuolo“.
