The structure dates back to around 1600. It is a typical rural mountain building entirely made of terracotta from Impruneta, the typical stone of the place, and wood. The stuccoed walls, painted or with exposed stone, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The country style, but chic is perfect for giving guests moments of full relaxation, rest thanks to reading, walking, sports or culture that surrounds the structure.
Just 10 minutes by car from Palazzuolo sul Senio, Ca ‘Scheta boasts a strategic position to quickly reach many cities of art such as Florence, Ravenna and Bologna.
The B&B has 2 rooms and 3 apartments. The rooms offered by Ca ‘Scheta offer many services such as TV, private bathroom with hairdryer, while as regards the apartments, a kitchenette with cooking hobs and fridge is available for guests. A large living room and a beautiful room decorated with fireplaces will welcome customers and where the delicious and abundant buffet breakfast will be served.

Events in Palazzuolo sul Senio
The small and charming ancient village, during the year, offers the visitor many events. From June to December there is a succession of cultural, recreational, artistic or traditional initiatives such as: the Tortello festival (culinary festival), the great and magnificent medieval festivals “Medioevo alla Corte degli Ubaldini” which in July bring history to square and attract people nationally, the Apennine Festival (cultural event with names of Italian journalism), the wild boar festival, the hunting festival, the Chestnut festival that will warm the hearts and immerse everyone in the autumn climate thanks to the typical flavors of the place and the period. In November, Palazzuolo sul Senio will be busy organizing the Wild Boar Trail: races and routes for all ages and with different difficulties, a good competitive race. And with the arrival of the magic of Christmas the lights come on and the village dresses up with its Christmas markets and with the initiative “1000 presepi per Palazzuolo“.
